Is it insane to just pull out my furthest back molar?

I just had a tooth out for this very reason a couple of weeks ago. They tried to tell me it would be best to do a root c, but I thought otherwise. Just say No, and see an oral surgeon. I also had a gap! It was downright annoying and I am so glad it is now gone!
