Mortgage companies on Columbus Day...?

I know that banks close on Columbus day, but do mortgage companies? We're waiting to hear if our offer on a house has been accepted, and I thought I'd hear tomorrow until I realized it was Columbus Day! I can't handle another day of anticipation!
