1992 Honda prelude h23a3 swap to h22 good idea?

I have a 1992 honda prelude i curently have a h23A3 in the prelude but i want to get a h22 engine dropped in it because of the obvious power gain what prep will i need to do? i have also heard that all h23a3 engines have black tops but the h23a3 in my car has a red top...whats up with this?
