Cop wrote down wrong last name, no license number, am I still responsible?

I got an MIC at my friends house in florida. The cop wrote down my last name wrong. He must have misheard me, because it is a completely different last name. Not just a typo. Instead of Smith, he wrote johnson. Also, I didn't have my license on me, so he doesnt have my license number. I did however, give him an address to my friends house to which I stay at alot. I am thinking the only way I get caught for not showing up to court is if the cop comes knocking on the door and points me out saying that it was me. Do cops even have the time to worry about a small ticket? Even if I get pulled over in the same city, my license has my name on it. There will not be a registered warrant under my name. It will be under johnson instead of smith. Am I ok to not show up to court and let them look for a person who probably doesn't exist? And not answer the door if the cop comes knocking?
