Make $250k in weeks; mail Letter scam?

ok so i got this letter in the mail saying if i send 1 dollar each to the 6 people provided, hopefully theyll put me on thier mailing list and send it to other people who then will send 1 dollar, which could add up to lots of money. some people have tried it and didnt even make that much. so that must mean its possible. if everyone jus works together, we can send each person a dollar, right? i wonder if anyone had made ANY amout over 100 dollars doing this? i think it is possible. what do u think???
