Whaat happens at the end in the movie "Thirteen"??(the one with nikki reed)?

i was watching the movie but didnt get to finidh can anyone tell me what happen sat the end....i left off on the part where Tracys mom goes to evie's house and alks to brooklyn and she has her ear all stitched up then evie asked mel if she isnt going to adopt her...can anyone tell me all that happens after that?
