When is the last time a team had only one or zero losses in their own division and still missed the playoffs?

The Oakland raiders are undefeated in their division and they are in 3rd place in the AFC West and they probably won't make the playoffs. Has this happened before? I think that if you are good enough to win in your division then you should be competing for a playoff spot. The NFC West doesn't count. lol
