Why do you care if AIG executives get bonuses?

Well I'm not American but the government in the UK have bailed out banks also only for the CEO's to give themselves bonuses, while the rest of the country is feeling the pangs of the recession. And what is worse is that the government do nothing about it. The economic crisis was a big old mess created by the government, if not they would have done more to stop these greedy people.
