Is the apocalypse good or bad?

im muslim and i want someone muslim to answer this to understand more better. Is the apocalypse good or bad? because my dad tells me that Prophet Mehdi ( Micheal) will come to earth and make everything fair by that i mean justice and peace so is the apocalypse good or bad like wht is it about. and only God (Allah) knows when the apocalypse is so dont bother telling me tht its this and tht date cuz i wont bother reading it. thaanks also im Lebanese (arabic)
